About Khanqah E Hyderi
The term Khanqah originates from the Persian word “Khand Gah,” meaning a place for study and contemplation of spiritual matters. At Khanqah E Hyderi, we uphold this tradition by promoting a deep understanding of the Holy Quran and the profound teachings of the Ahlul Bayt عَلَیهِالسَّلام.
The Khanqah is named after Hazrat Ali ibn Abi Talib عَلَیهِالسَّلام, known as “Hyder,” a title bestowed upon him for his unmatched bravery and leadership. Hazrat Ali عَلَیهِالسَّلام, recognized as the “Gateway to the City of Knowledge” and the “King of Sainthood” (Shah E Wilayat), holds a pivotal place in Islamic spirituality and Sufism.
Khanqah E Hyderi is a spiritual and social institution dedicated to propagating the spiritual, ethical, and social values of Islam. Rooted in the teachings of the Ahlul Bayt عَلَیهِالسَّلام—the household of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ—our mission is to spread the light of spirituality, knowledge, and unity among all.
